What are your professional credentials?

Before real estate, Derek worked as a media manager and product photographer in San Diego's skateboarding industry—so the attention to detail and visual storytelling came long before the first listing shoot. Today, we're Zillow Showcase Select certified photographers and FAA Part 107 licensed drone pilots. With over 5,100 properties photographed across Central Texas, we've built a reputation for consistent quality, reliable turnaround, and doing what we say we're going to do.

We're not a high-volume "shoot and burn" operation. We limit our daily bookings so every property gets the attention it deserves. Every image goes through a double-review editing process before delivery—no rushed work, no cutting corners. Cedar Park puts us right in the middle of the action—close to the fast-growing North Austin, Leander, and Liberty Hill markets, minutes from downtown Austin, and an easy drive to the Hill Country. We're a local business serving local agents, and we like it that way.

Who is behind Come and Shoot It Photography?

Come and Shoot It is owned and operated by Derek, a Marine Corps combat veteran and Central Texas-based photographer who's been shooting real estate full-time for years. Every shoot is handled personally—not farmed out to subcontractors—so you get consistent quality and a direct line of communication.

How long have you been in business?

We've been serving the Austin metro area since 20, with over 5,100 properties photographed. We've worked with individual agents, teams, brokerages, builders, and commercial clients across Central Texas.

Do you work with new agents?

Absolutely. Whether you're closing your first listing or your five-hundredth, you'll get the same quality and attention. We're happy to walk first-time clients through the process and answer any questions about how to get the most out of your listing photos.

Can I reach you directly with questions?

Yes. You'll always communicate directly with Derek—no call centers, no runaround. Call, text, or email anytime. We believe in straightforward communication and actually answering when you reach out.

Do you work with homeowners or just real estate agents?

Both. While most of our clients are real estate agents, we also work directly with homeowners selling FSBO, property managers, builders, and commercial clients. Everyone gets the same level of service.
